I have NEVER had a single bad thing to say about MatClinics over the past 5 years, but this weekend absolutely sets a new record for absolutely stellar service towards an addicts recovery. Ms Lisa and Ms Lauren, you two are heros in your profession. After my insurance decided I can't fill my prescription for a couple days after I had already ran out a few days prior, they both went above and beyond, on their own decision, to make sure I get the medication I need to continue my day to day life with no interruptions or upsets. Lauren spent the better part of her day calling EVERY SINGLE Pharmacy in and around my area to help me and although it didn't work out yesterday, today Lisa was able to have a temporary supply to hold me over. Never before have I experienced a selfless act of compassion to this extent before from two people who associate with me only on a client/clinician setting. I will never forget this simple yet enormous act of compassion. Anyone looking for MAT for substance abuse help, You'll never find a better place to go than MATClinics. Laurel is my preferred location but all of them are stellar. Thank you Lauren, Lisa, and everyone else employed or otherwise at MATClinics. You are all my heros this weekend!!

It can get a little busy waiting to be seen but its pretty rare now a days, I guess it really depends on the date/time of your appointment. Doctors are very kind, they usually talk to you about your life & recovery and seem to actually care about you and your quality of life. Front desk staff are awesome and always call/text to remind you of your appointment. A couple times i've been running late/have to reschedule. I just send them a text letting them know whats going on and i'm good to go. I've recommended this place to a few people as this is how treatment centers should be. Ive been to/seen others where the wait times are insane, they make you go weekly, doctors over over booked, and they just see you as a dollar bill, etc. Thats not the case here. The only downsides are that It can take a little bit for them to send over to the prescription to the pharmacy. A couple times now they've somehow forgot to send over another prescription the doctor wanted to me to try or we talked about. Most recently it was a sleep medicine that I had already been taking for 30 days and the doctor/staff assured me it was going to be sent over for a refill but when I got there the pharmacy said they had no record of it. I ended up getting some melatonin which I think is better for me in the long run. Update Dec 2023 Been sober the entire time coming to MATClinics and almost ready to taper off. The tele visits every other visit are great and make it so much easier than having to go monthly (you have to earn this being clean though it’s not given). I recently moved so I will be going to the Hagerstown office from now on. Just wanted to say thank you to the Laurel doctors and staff, you really do help change peoples lives around. I have nothing but nice things to say about that office. I have been to several clinics in the last and nobody compares to the ease, level of care, compassion, and friendliness as MATClinics. The epitome of how treatment should be.

Great place to go for MAT and for IOP. Seriously, the staff is so patient throughout the entire recovery process. Hands down best IOP I've been to. So glad to have found MATClinics

Very efficient staff and case manager always appointments were on time or wait 5 minutes Higley recommend laurel problem now is my insurance will change jan1 and case manager said they will not take Medicare advantage c with Aetna. I am very disappointed that I have to find new place

this place has help change my life and has been part of the process of a better way of living. very accepting a non-judgmental I want to move treatments in this is the best so far and the one that has taught me how to stay committed to a better lifestyle without the use of drugs overtime it feels like it is your family they are very welcoming

The staff at the laurel location are always so nice/professional! I have been coming here since 2020 and will continue to come, very knowledgeable and always willing to listen to me when I’m in doubt. The doctors are nice, compassionate and friendly! Highly recommend this location I come from La Plata just because I feel so comfortable and safe here! Thank you staff!

all the front desk staff are very pleasant, which is hard to find these days. The practitioner is pretty much always on time. If anything I may have had to wait 10-15 mins max. They make you feel like a regular human being not judgmental at all.

The Doctor, Kai and the staff at Laurel office are the best ! Always friendly and pleasant. They all make my day when I see them!
